However, it is lamentable that the focus of austerity has shifted on to aereplanes.We should remember that Gandhiji travelled in Third class railway compartments.Though the Government has abolished the concept of third class itself from Railways, it seems that only a bar has been rubbed from Roman three wherein the same has been made a Second class.
Ashoka turned to peace after the battle of Kalinga i.e. after he won over all his enemies, similarly the auterity drive has been introduced post-elections. In a country where majority population is poor and only a minority is rich we should not follow minority politics.
